Vibration dampening

Having a ribbed internal structure and being made out of high-density materials, the spindle bed will reduce vibration by 40% during heavy duty cutting, which leads to decreased tool chatter, increased quality of the surface finish of the pieces of work being machined, and prolongation of the life of cutting tools due to wear being minimised.

Not susceptible to heat

Due to quenching and tempering heat treatment processes carried out on the spindle bed it is not affected structurally when subject to operating temperatures of up to 80(deg) C (176(deg) F). There are no problems of accuracy caused by heat contraction and expansion so that machining accuracy can be guaranteed even during long runs of production.

Long lasting

Due to being supplied with a finish which is resistant to corrosion, and having been produced under a strict quality control (which is ISO9001), the spindle bed is able to withstand aggressive workshop environments, involving oil, coolant and dust, and have a service life of 10 plus years under normal operating circumstances, which will help to keep down the costs of manufacture, which will have long-term benefits to the manufacturers themselves.
