WF Tooling & Cutter: Rapid Response, Stringent Quality Control

Time : 2025-01-31

In January, WFIE secured orders for 206 types of tooling and 39 types of cutters, marking a 2.2% year-on-year growth. The frontline employees in the Tooling Business Division diversified process routes for bottleneck procedures such as high-precision grinding, C800U machining centers, and CUT2000S slow wire cutting. By utilizing universal grinding, X81 vertical milling, and DK7725 fast wire cutting to distribute the workload, they reduced the burden on finishing processes. This optimization of production workflows enhanced efficiency while ensuring high-precision quality.

The Cutter Business Division responded to the demands of production lines for injector bodies of large and small vehicles, large vehicle rear-end processing, and rail body manufacturing. Frontline operators managed two machines each, with four five-axis cutter grinders operating continuously 24/7 to ensure on-time order delivery. The division actively monitored the performance of cutters across customer production lines, providing swift solutions to any issues that arose.

Meanwhile, the Tooling and Cutter Inspection Group, serving as a quality firewall, proactively coordinated testing equipment and quality inspection resources to support production.
